Familiar Feeling?

Your heart speeds up.

Your brain goes blank.

You know the words... but they won't come out.

Someone asks you a simple question in Spanish, and suddenly you feel like you've forgotten everything you've ever learned.

You stumble through an answer. Or just smile and nod.

Then, five minutes later, the perfect response comes to you.

"I KNEW that! Why couldn't I just SAY it?"

Especially frustrating when you've spent months, maybe YEARS, studying Spanish.

You've watched videos. Learned grammar. Memorized vocabulary.

You might even understand quite a bit when you're reading.

But when it's your turn to SPEAK?

Everything gets clunky.

Freezing Isn't Always a Knowledge Problem. It's Often a COMFORT Problem.

You can know how the preterite works. Recognize the subjunctive. Understand an entire sentence when you read it.

But knowing Spanish and USING Spanish in real time are two very different skills.

When somebody's standing there waiting for an answer, you don't have 30 seconds to conjugate a verb in your head.

You've got to respond.

And the only way to get comfortable doing that is to DO IT.

Over and over.

Until mistakes don't bother you so much. Until you stop panicking when you can't find a word. Until you can stumble, recover, and keep the conversation going.

That's what The Spanish Fluency Clubs are for.

What If You Had Somewhere to Practice Spanish Every Week?

Somewhere you could show up, talk with real people, and use whatever Spanish you already know.

Without worrying about being the worst person in the group.

Without needing perfect grammar.

And without paying for a private lesson every time you want to practice.

That's what I've built.

The Spanish Fluency Clubs.

We get together on Zoom every week and practice Spanish.

Some members still struggle to put sentences together. Others can hold conversations but sound pretty clunky. And some are already good speakers who want to become more fluid.

We've got different groups for different abilities, guided by native speakers who know how to help.

The goal isn't to impress anybody.

It's to get comfortable using Spanish.

And then keep getting better.

Three Ways The Clubs Help You Get Better at Spanish

1. Conversation Club:
Practice Speaking

16 live sessions every week with native Spanish-speaking hosts.

Small groups, with a goal of five members or fewer, so everybody gets a chance to actually SPEAK.

And right now, you can attend as many sessions as you want. No extra charge.

2. Comprehension Club:
Practice Understanding

Every week, I handpick Spanish-language podcasts for each level and create listening assignments with questions to focus your attention.

Do them whenever you want, on your own schedule.

No meeting required.

3. Wednesday w/ The Spanish Dude

Three live 30-minute sessions every Wednesday, one for each level.

We talk in Spanish, discuss the week's podcast, and whatever else comes up.

It's also a chance for us to get to know each other.

Can't make Wednesday? No problem. You can still do the Comprehension Club assignments at home.

Plus...

  • An optional personal Zoom welcome call.
  • A community of fellow Spanish learners.
  • Your membership rate locked in for as long as you remain a member.
  • My 90-day money-back guarantee.

All included in one membership.

Small Groups. Because You're Here to SPEAK, Not Watch Other People Speak.

Ever been in a conversation group where two confident people do all the talking?

You sit there waiting for your chance.

And then the session ends.

Well, that wasn't much practice, was it?

That's why I aim to keep our Conversation Club groups at five people or fewer.

Sometimes we go over. But when a session consistently gets too crowded, I look at adding another one.

Especially in Level #1, our hosts use a roundtable approach. They speak with each member individually, adjusting to what that person can handle.

Maybe one person answers in complete sentences. Another needs help getting three words out.

That's fine.

You don't have to keep up with the best speaker in the room. You just have to practice YOUR Spanish.

I try to attend the Conversation and Comprehension Clubs whenever I can. When I first joined, I was nervous. I didn’t take Spanish in high school and only started learning as an adult.

Jordan makes you feel comfortable and encourages you constantly. He corrects me, which I appreciate. Before long, I was looking forward to speaking and doing it with much less hesitation.

These classes have truly built my confidence in both listening and speaking.

Juanito OSuper Clunky (Level #1)

My biggest struggle was listening and comprehending. Trying to listen, understand, and form a grammatically correct response all at once felt impossible.

The shift came when I stopped trying to be perfect. Now I focus on understanding most of what’s said, asking people to slow down if needed, and not sweating every mistake. People understand me. They appreciate the effort.

If you want to improve in a relaxed, supportive environment, aquí está el lugar.

Jaime GKinda Clunky (Level #2)

I found Jordan when I was at my lowest point. In a previous class, I felt diminished and froze when speaking.

Since joining, everything has shifted. The structure, clear instruction, and weekly listening practice have transformed how I learn.

For the first time, I’m highly motivated and finally speaking with confidence. I’ve been given a voice.

Rita RKinda Clunky (Level #2)

Meet Your Conversation Club Hosts

Enis (from Colombia) & Naye (from Mexico)

Enis hosts Tuesdays. Naye hosts Thursdays.

They're both great at making people feel comfortable and adjusting conversations to your ability.

Whether you're struggling with simple sentences or ready for a full conversation, they know how to meet you where you are.

Because being a native Spanish speaker is one thing.

Knowing how to help nervous Spanish learners relax, speak up, and get comfortable is another.

That's exactly what I look for in our hosts.

Practice Once a Week. Twice a Week. Or More.

We currently have 16 Conversation Club sessions every week.

Eight on Tuesday. Eight on Thursday.

Each one is 30 minutes, with different sessions for our three ability levels.

And here's something I think you'll like.

There's currently no limit on how many sessions you can attend.

Want to practice Tuesday AND Thursday? Great.

Somewhere between Level #1 and Level #2? Stay for both.

You don't pay extra for practicing more.

And as The Clubs grow, I'll continue to expand the schedule so members have more opportunities to practice without overcrowding the groups.

Because I'm not interested in rationing out your Spanish practice.

I want to make it as easy as possible for you to get the practice you need.

Conversation Club Gets You Talking. Comprehension Club Trains Your Ears.

You know what's almost as frustrating as not being able to say what you want in Spanish?

Not understanding what somebody else just said. Especially when you KNOW you'd understand it if they wrote it down.

That's what Comprehension Club is for.

Every week, I handpick three Spanish-language podcasts, one for each level, and create listening assignments with questions to keep you focused on what you're hearing.

You do the assignments whenever you want. No meeting required.

And I'm not just picking podcasts for practice. I'm exposing you to different speakers, accents, and subjects, hoping you'll discover something you actually ENJOY listening to.

Because once you find Spanish content you like, you might start listening on your own. Without me assigning anything.

That's when the real progress starts.

Wednesday w/ The Spanish Dude

Every Wednesday, I host three 30-minute sessions, one for each level.

We spend about half the time just talking in Spanish about whatever comes up. Then we discuss the week's podcast.

It's a chance to practice together, ask questions, and get to know each other.

Can't make Wednesday? Doesn't matter.

The real comprehension practice happens at home, on your schedule. The meetings are an extra benefit.

Something Interesting Happens When You Keep Showing Up...

You start recognizing people. You remember their stories. You laugh about mistakes.

And before long, they're not just random people in a Zoom meeting.

They're people you know.

I've seen real friendships develop in The Clubs.

When I held my Spanish Camps in Costa Rica, several campers were already Club members. We'd been talking for months, so when we finally met in person, it felt like catching up with old friends.

That's something I didn't fully expect when I started The Clubs.

You're not just practicing Spanish. You're becoming part of a community of people who know you, encourage you, and want to see you improve.

And that makes showing up every week a whole lot easier.

After three years of studying Spanish, my biggest struggles were pretérito vs. imperfecto and actually speaking.

The Conversation Club helped me practice consistently at the right level and pushed me to aim higher. A Spanish Dude video on mastering the past tenses 90% of the time was honestly life-changing. 😂 I’m far more confident using them now.

If you want accountability and real speaking practice, become a member. The weekly groups keep you on track.

Chris BKinda Clunky (Level #2)

Comprehension Club has kept me moving forward by learning new vocabulary, frequently used phrases, and common sentence structure. Having to learn something weekly and then discussing it within a group is motivating and supportive.

Dan HSuper Clunky / Kinda Clunky (Level #1 & #2)

I’ve been participating in your Comprehension Club for a while now, and it’s a fantastic experience. Being part of a community of fellow learners added a whole new dimension to the learning process. You’re not only a great teacher, but also a kind and sensitive guy who clearly cares about his students. I truly appreciate all the effort you put into helping us reach our goals.

Joseph W, MDSuper Clunky (Level #1)

Three Levels of Clunkiness. Which One Are You?

I don't particularly like the usual beginner, intermediate, and advanced labels.

I'd rather describe what happens when you actually try to use Spanish.

Level 1: Super Clunky

You know some words and grammar, but putting sentences together is HARD.

When somebody speaks Spanish to you, you might understand very little.

That's okay.

Here, you work on basic exchanges, getting used to hearing Spanish, and finding the courage to put your thoughts into words.

You don't have to speak in complete sentences yet. That's what you're working toward.

Level 2: Kinda Clunky

You can basically understand and speak Spanish.

But man, it's clunky.

You hesitate. Search for words. Get halfway through a sentence and realize you've made a mess of it.

You can communicate, but it takes effort.

Here, you work on getting smoother, responding more naturally, and gradually losing that clunkiness.

Level 3: Not That Clunky

You can already hold conversations and understand Spanish pretty well.

But you want more fluidity.

Fewer pauses. More natural expressions. Less thinking about HOW to say something and more attention on WHAT you're saying.

This is where you polish what you've already built.

Not Sure Which Level You Belong In?

Don't worry about getting it perfect.

Levels #1 and #2 are self-assessed. Choose the one that feels right, and we'll help you adjust if necessary.

You can even attend both.

Level #3 is invitation-only, after a short conversation with me.

And if you'd like help figuring out where you belong, you can schedule a personal Zoom call with me.

We'll figure it out together.

"But What If My Spanish Isn't Good Enough?"

Then Level #1 might be exactly where you belong.

A lot of people worry they'll be the worst student in the group. That they'll hold everybody back. Or embarrass themselves.

Listen.

This is a Spanish PRACTICE group. You're SUPPOSED to make mistakes.

Especially in Level #1, the host speaks with members individually and adjusts to what each person can handle.

You don't need to deliver a perfect speech. You need to start using what you know.

That said, The Clubs aren't for absolute beginners.

If someone says, "Hola, ¿cómo estás?" and you genuinely can't respond at all, you probably need a little foundation first.

Sometimes I recommend a month of private help before joining.

But if you can manage a basic exchange, even awkwardly, you're probably ready.

You don't have to stop being clunky before joining. Getting less clunky is what we're here for.

What Usually Happens When You Start

You log into your first Conversation Club session.

You're nervous.

The host asks you something. You stumble through an answer.

Maybe you make a mistake.

And then you realize...

"Oh. That wasn't so bad."

Next week, you're still nervous. But a little less.

You recognize somebody. You answer another question. You get stuck, but recover a little faster.

And it keeps happening.

Little by little, speaking Spanish becomes less of an ordeal and more of a normal thing you do.

That's the goal.

Why I Built The Spanish Fluency Clubs

I've spent over a decade teaching Spanish, and I've seen the same thing over and over.

People spend YEARS studying, but still aren't comfortable speaking.

They know grammar. They have vocabulary. Some can understand quite a bit.

But they don't get enough actual conversation practice.

So they freeze. Get frustrated. And sometimes give up altogether.

I want to change that.

I want to give people somewhere to SHOW UP and USE their Spanish.

Not another course to buy and never finish.

A place to practice regularly, get comfortable, and keep improving.

We started with three weekly sessions.

Now we've got 19.

And I'm planning to keep adding more as The Clubs grow.

Because I want this to become one of the most useful parts of your Spanish-learning routine.

A place you actually GO to practice Spanish.

Important: The Membership Price Is Going Up.

Right now, you can join The Spanish Fluency Clubs for:

$35/month or $350/year.

But I'm planning to add morning sessions, giving members more opportunities to practice throughout the day.

When those sessions are added, the membership price will increase to $50/month or $500/year.

I haven't set an exact date for the expansion yet.

But here's what matters.

Join now at $35/month or $350/year, and your rate is locked in for as long as you keep your membership active.

So if you've been thinking about joining, there's a pretty good reason to start now instead of paying more later.

Frequently Asked Questions

Can I attend more than one session per week?

Absolutely. Right now, there's no limit on how many sessions you can attend. Come practice as often as you like.

What if I'm between Level #1 and Level #2?

Try both! We'll help you figure out where you're most comfortable and appropriately challenged.

What if I'm nervous about speaking?

That's exactly why The Clubs exist. Our hosts are great at helping nervous learners relax, make mistakes, and start speaking.

What if I'm not good enough for Level #1?

You need some basic Spanish, but you don't need to speak well. If you're not quite ready, I may recommend a little individual practice first.

What if I don't know which level to choose?

Levels #1 and #2 are self-assessed, and we'll help you adjust. You can also schedule a personal welcome call with me. Level #3 requires a conversation with me before joining.

What if I can't attend Wednesday?

No problem. The Comprehension Club assignments are designed to be done independently, whenever it works for you.

Are the Wednesday meetings recorded?

No. But you don't need the recordings to complete the listening assignments.

What if I miss a week?

Life happens. Come back when you can. Just remember, the more consistently you practice, the more opportunities you have to improve.

What if I already have a Spanish tutor?

Great! Keep your tutor.

The Clubs give you more opportunities to USE what you're learning. Plus, I think it's incredibly beneficial to practice with different people, different accents, and different ways of speaking.

The more variety you're exposed to, the better prepared you'll be for real-world Spanish conversations.

What if I join monthly and later want to switch to annual?

Absolutely. Just email me. I'll help you make the switch.

Do I have to commit long-term?
90-day money-back guarantee

Nope. Cancel anytime with one click. And you're covered by my 90-day guarantee if you participate consistently and don't feel noticeably more comfortable.

Will my price go up after I join?

No. As long as you keep your membership active, your rate is locked in.

What happens after I join?

You'll get an email with everything you need to start attending The Clubs. Choose your sessions, and if you'd like help getting started, schedule a personal welcome call with me.

See You in The Clubs.

You already know more Spanish than you comfortably use.

Let's do something about that.
